Beta participation

1. Scope

These beta participation terms (“Beta Terms”) describe what we ask of you during the Cost Clarity open beta, how feedback is collected, and how eligibility for post-launch benefits may work. They apply in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If something in these Beta Terms conflicts with the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions control except where these Beta Terms add more specific beta-only rules.

2. Beta access

While you participate in the open beta, we currently intend for you to use Cost Clarity without charge. We may change or end the beta program; we will communicate material changes when reasonable.

3. Feedback questionnaires

We collect structured feedback through Typeform questionnaires sent by email. Sending is automated. Each round is a short questionnaire with only a handful of questions - enough to be useful, not a long survey.

The first questionnaire is scheduled to go out approximately one week after you sign up to test. Further questionnaires follow on a weekly cadence over six weeks in total (including that first round), unless we notify you otherwise.

4. Missed questionnaires

Participating in good faith includes responding to these emails. If you do not complete three (3) questionnaires after they are sent, we may remove your access to the beta program (for example by disabling your tester access). We may use reasonable reminders before that happens where practical.

5. After general availability

When we launch generally available product and pricing, we may offer beta participants extended free periods and discounts on paid plans as a thank-you for helping us during the beta. These benefits are not guaranteed, are not stated as fixed amounts or percentages here, and depend on your meeting these Beta Terms and any eligibility criteria we communicate at or before launch.

6. Changes

We may update these Beta Terms from time to time. We will adjust the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, aim to give notice (for example by email or in-product notice) where reasonable.
